Donating your Time...
Becoming a Volunteer
If you live in the area and are interested in giving your time to A Brighter Day Farm, we invite you to complete our Volunteer Interest Form.
Our Volunteers must be age 8 or older. If a youth of age 17 or under is interested in volunteering, he or she must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian or approved as a Youth Volunteer. We also love having families volunteer together. In fact, a lot of our work around the farm is done by kids and adults working together. Please keep in mind that we do not offer childcare for volunteers. It is the volunteers’ responsibility to watch his or her children at all times while at A Brighter Day Farm.
Our Volunteer Application Process
First, complete our Volunteer Interest Form
Second, attend one of our monthly volunteer informational meetings.
Third, you will be scheduled for an informal one-on-one interview and pass the background check.
Donating Hay, Grain or other Animal Feed
Any money saved on food for our animals by not having to pay for it, directly benefits all of the programs that we will be able to provide to the community.
Monetary Donations
Any monetary donations immediately help the program or project of greatest need. Please let us know if you would like to designate part of your dollars to a particular area or project. Contact Us for more information about any of the projects we are currently trying to fund. And again, thank you so much for your consideration.
Donating your beloved Animals
As our programs grow, we will need to add new members to our Animal Family here at A Brighter Day Farm. Please consider giving your beloved friend a chance to come and impact many many lives.
Group Volunteers
Both a group application and an interview with the group leader are required.
Each participant must complete a current Release form.
Local Groups do have the option of being "On Call," and we will contact you when we have big jobs arise that will require many hands or specific skills.
We welcome groups of kids and teens as well! However, we do require a ratio of your own leaders to kids/teens that you bring dependant on their age. That can be discussed during the interview process.
Thank you in advance for your consideration. Your kindness and generosity is what makes everything possible.
Donating your New or Used Horse Tack
We are still in need of all kinds of horse tack including grooming supplies, Saddles, Helmets, Saddle pads, girths, bridles, bits, reins, etc.
ALL - YES 100% of your generous donations to A Brighter Day For All go towards providing our Therapeutic Programs to those who would otherwise be unable to participate. ALL DONATIONS are TAX DEDUCTIBLE as we are a 501(c)(3).
Donating Art Supplies, Crafts, Cleaning Supplies or goods used in ABDF programs
Since we do such a broad array of activities at A Brighter Day Farm, there are a lot of things that also help us save on expenses that in turn, allow us to spend more on our programs. If you have something you think we may be able to use, please let us know!
